A beautiful piece of history from the 1960’s. These are excellent performers that are not just eye candy. Brand new condition, and probably one of the lightest Choppers with a 7/8″ blade ground to perfection. They started making these in the 1940’s but this specific razor was made much later. One of the reasons it is so difficult to date a Straight razor, as they did not number them in most cases. Some small clue’s like packaging can give you a good idea if you have had hundreds in your hand to compare too.
Please note: With any Shaving Antiques there are no returns. Once the razor is honed or used it is no longer New Old Stock. As a small family run business we could not recover the cost. These type of Antiques are more for collectability and will gain value over time. So we ask that you take your time before making such an important decision and look over the pictures carefully. Also note that this does not mean you are left out in the cold with no support! We stand behind our products, which means if you have problems down the road, we will go out of our way to help you if you drop your razor, or lose a pin. But if you plan to shave with such a rare and irreplaceable piece of Art… Well we respect your choice, and would love to hear about it. Never be shy to call Phil for advice or to get his opinion about what razor to choose. 416-574-1592 he loves to hear from clients who like to learn about these amazing pieces of history.
